Jupiter has been in your 8th house of regeneration all year, and this house is extremely strong this month, thanks to the short-term planets – 60 per cent of the planets are either there or moving through there this month. So the themes of the 8th house are ultra-important.
In the 8th house we de-clutter our lives. This takes place on many levels – physical, emotional and mental – and also in your physical conditions and circumstances. Often we think we can attain our goals by ‘getting, getting, getting’. In the 8th house we learn that goals are also achieved by ‘cutting, eliminating and getting rid’ of things. Your ability to do this helped the career this year. When a company is in trouble, the good executives start to cut – they cut useless stores or outlets, they cut posts that aren’t necessary, they cut debt and expenses, they downsize. This is usually not pleasant, but there is cosmic logic to it. In order to grow, the useless must be eliminated. Death always precedes resurrection.
So you’ve been doing this in your career, and this month it is good to do it in your personal life too. Go through the home (it’s easier if you do room by room and cupboard by cupboard). Put the things you find in a pile and go through each thing. Ask yourself, ‘Is this something I use?’ If the answer is no, get rid of it. If the answer is yes, keep it. You should do this in your finances too. ‘Do I need three credit cards? Do I need those extra bank and savings accounts? Perhaps I can consolidate things.’ There is great magic in this. The de-cluttering makes room for the new and better that wants to come in. You’ll feel lighter and better after you’ve done this.
Jupiter makes a major move into your 9th house on the 11th. Your past experience in de-cluttering will be helpful in the year ahead too. (Jupiter will be in Scorpio, the sign that rules elimination.) But now you will see the expansiveness behind this. You prune a tree and it starts growing faster and better. Jupiter in your 9th house is a positive transit for the career. It shows expansion in the career. It is a very nice aspect for college students (and those bound for college) too. There is success in the coming year. There will be career-related travel happening now.
The career is improving this month, and will improve further in December and in 2018.
Your financial planet is still in your 7th house until the 22nd. So your social harmony and social contacts are still very important financially. When Mars moves into your 8th house on that date, it will be good to pay off, consolidate or restructure your debt. It is a good aspect for re-financing too. Tax efficiency is an important factor in the financial planning, and those of appropriate age should do estate planning.
